Getting to the island of Utö (Stockholm Archipelago)

Utö is located in the Stockholm southern archipelago and can be easily reached by boat from both Nynashamn, Årsta Brygga and in summertime also from Strömkajen at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm.

Are you coming by car, there is a car park at Årsta brygga where you can pay by mobile and cards. A more complete description can be found on the website for Utö Parking AB

 One of the boats also offers free transport to the house.

From the summer of 2015, a new north-south line has been started. This allows you to be able to visit several islands without having to go to Stockholm to change boats. Boats will be running between Nynäshamn and Arholma.

During the nine weeks, from mid-June to mid-August, two boats with a capacity of 65 passengers each will be at your service.
A bus will be available to get from Ålö up to Gruvbryggan on Utö.
Some tours will go to popular large sandy beach at Utö Stora Sand.

If you arrive by airplane, there are buses to Central Station from all airports. Even train from Arlanda airport. From Central Station take the commuter train to Västerhaninge and then bus 846 directly to the boat.
